The feedback form
is divided into two main sections: Content
and Design and Operation.
In the Content
section we are looking for feedback on the quality
of the information you are offered. In other
words we would like you to rate the inherent value
to you of the information, without taking into
account the way in which the information is
presented.
In the Design
and Operation section, on the other hand, we
want you to tell us precisely about the way in
which the information is presented. What do
you feel about the way the website works?
The way the pages are laid out? The colour
scheme? The navigation system (navigation
tree and prev / next / top / bottom
buttons). The accent here is on style and
structure.
Each of the two
sections are themselves divided into two parts: Rating
and Comments.
The Rating
part offers a five-point scale of your assessment
of that section, and the Comments part
gives you the option of expanding on your
rating. Although comments are not
compulsory, we always welcome them as they give us
a better understanding of your rating, and provide
more specific ideas for improvements to the site.
There is a final
(optional) section allowing you to tell us who you
are. It would help us if you completed this
section, because:
- This enables us
to communicate with you regarding your rating
and comments - we can clarify aspects of your
feedback or request you to re-rate the site
once we have attended to your comments.
- It will allow us
to build a picture of your personal feedback
over time.
If you are also a subscriber, we will
make a connection using your email address,
enabling us to better understand your feedback
using the personal and organizational
information that you have provided us.
- It will allow
you to review your own feedback history.
